“Big thanks to Rima and Yves. It was great experience to go through the coaching journey to find out my own values, strengths, skills etc. comprehensively and finally worked out formally my first personal branding statement.”

What exactly does coaching mean anyway?
Coaching is used as a collective term for a variety of consulting methods. Coaching differs from classic consulting in the sense that the coach will accompany and assist you in developing your own solutions rather than suggest solutions directly. We don't take such a narrow view - we are coaches and consultants. This means that we are more than happy to draw up recommendations and come up with solutions according to the situation. We alternate between coaching and consulting.
"Coaching allows me to reflect on my problems in a structured way and to develop a coherent approach to solving them. It helps me to practice self-reflection and gives me a greater understanding of my role. This has a positive impact on my self-confidence and self-belief. I acquire new skills during the coaching process and become more confident in dealing with difficult situations. This enables me to communicate more clearly and to develop my leadership role more fully. The change of perspective helps me to see more courses of action."
We get to know each other during our first meeting and establish the framework for the process and our collaboration. Who will I be dealing with? What happens here exactly? Coaching is a way of working that seeks to encourage individual responsibility. The coach sees himself or herself as your partner and will support you under clear and fair conditions.
The next step is for the coach to become familiar with your situation and to understand your questions and concerns. The exact goals you hope to achieve will also be defined at this stage. The coach will assist you in this process by structuring your concerns and keeping an overview. He or she will ask you constructive, solution-oriented questions and visualise the points you raise. What do you need on the way to your goal? The coach will help you to use your own resources and will suggest what methods could help you to achieve your goals. This phase is all about formulating approaches to problem solving. The coach will help you to see various aspects differently and equip you to reassess them. It will then also be made clear how you can ensure that your plan is implemented. What sort of risks, obstacles and resistance could occur? The aim is to define in more detail how you will actually reach your goal and to support you in doing so.
